We are currently a home-based mobile business as we’re building momentum. Repairs can either be completed on-the-spot at your place, or with complimentary pick-up and delivery. Looking for a bicycle? Check out our current inventory here—refurbished bicycles sell quickly, so we always have more available than what we can keep up with on the website. We’re happy to send you photos of available bicycles in your size and price range and will either make an appointment for you to come to our place or will meet you at a location convenient to you for a test ride! To me, bicycles represent freedom, peace, and human power. Growing up in Denton, Texas, riding was a way to find my edge, focus my mind, and connect with people and places I cared about. I started working with Tulsa Hub, a former nonprofit dedicated to providing bicycles and safety education for people with limited resources, while studying at the University of Tulsa. Through Tulsa Hub, I met people whose stories continue to inspire and challenge me-people who power their bicycles with their own strength to find and maintain jobs, care for their families, and move through life with tenacity and resolve.
I currently teach bicycling (and Spanish) at Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences. It is a joy to help students grow in confidence as they learn to ride a bike for transportation and bicycle maintenance.
One of my greatest joys is riding with my wife, Arianna, and our two beautiful kids, Julian and Evelyn. I want them to live in a kinder, more peaceful world, and I teach them that bicycles are one way to help create that reality. I want them to experience the empowerment I felt as a kid through bicycling, and to work to make our built environment safer for them.
I created Second Wind Bicycles to help make bicycles and maintenance accessible to all. I want to utilize my 10+ years of bicycle mechanic experience to help break down barriers keeping people from finding and maintaining bicycles. Bicycles and the people riding them can change the world—let’s get rolling together!
